I trying to mount directory from Linux to AIX. I am getting following error.

root@AIX fcis106-[ / #] mount -n 19.49.188.147 /dbsupport2 /mnt
mount: 1831-008 giving up on:
19.49.188.147:/dbsupport2
vmount: Operation not permitted.

Help is appreciated.

Hi,
in file /etc/exports under Linux for filesystems you wish mount under AIX add option insecure. For example
/lindir aixhost(rw,insecure).
