If you want to create a bootable .iso image of your c: drive, I don't think that is possible as your C: drive is well beyond the 4.5 Gb or 9 GB file size limit for DVD or even if you wanted to create a bootable BRD your drive is most likely larger.
hi thanks for the rep mate. My c drive is just over 2 Gigs its just a fresh installation. I bought this computer and its loaded with windows xp professional sp3. I went to install server 2003. Before i do that i need to create an image of xp.
If it seems too complicated, better stay away from it so that you don't render your system non-bootable and/or you don't have a reliable backup to use.
Not putting you down, but you need to have a certain amount of PC savvy/moxie before you start doing certain things and especially when relying on something for an image backup.
It is also the kind of thing that you should TEST after putting it in place to make sure what you THINK should happen ACTUALLY WILL happen when you need it. KnowWhatIMean??
