IF FACT I CREATED IN IIS5.0 several virtual web sites, why do they not show on the dropdown box in VI? Maybe I am not created the right virtual web sites in IIS5.0? HELP

See other posting. But yes, you are correct - you would expect them to be listed, but they are not. And the ONLY way that I have found to add a web to this list is to Create New - but re-enter the name of the existing web.

If you have bought the IIS Admin book from microsoft, it comes with a disk of utilities - including an IIS Configuration 'spy' - a very basic editor, a bit like regedit. I am sure that you could use this to figure out the difference between a Virtual Directory and one that IIS can 'see'. Or it could be something to do with Front-Page server extensions and those directoies starting with an underscore and a couple of executables that live within those directories.
