Hi

We are receiving error '8004270f' from our ASP pages. We get varying messages as follows:

Recordset Surveys: setState Method, StateKey = K10600, type = IStringList error '8004270f'
...and...
Field:Value Property Get error '8004270f'

We don't get them all the time, and unloading the code and restarting MTS seems to fix them for a while.

We're fairly sure the error is being returned from MTS but can't find any info about the error. Any ideas?
BTW, we're running ASP Intranet apps on IIS4 (NT4 sp6) with MTS and SQL65, and COM objects written with VB6

If you are using any Dlls to access the dB at the back-end, check the permissions in the Dlls.

you might get this error if you try to run remote OLE client, and if u r using 2 different server as webserver and database server, and u r trying to make connection to database server from webserver using database server machine name , try changing it to its IP address
