How can I Solved this Problem. Please help me.

That looks like one device is moving slower than the other so it is resyncing, and reducing speed to the slowest device. It is really not a problem per se all it really does is slow down the transfer rate. Is this a external disk?

I think the only fix to your problem is to replace your SCSI interface card. The card may be single ended and the disk may want differental or whatever.

hi siswjh,

Thanks for your Suggestion. But I am using inbuilt SCSI interface and both Disk are internal.

The drive you are using is not rated for the transfer rate the bus can provide to your scsi deveices.

I'm using 10K rpm drives in my ultra 60. It does make a difference.

The message you see is a hw handsake to reduce speed to the drives. Once the system resyncs everything should be fine.

If you feel that the need is necessay you can use the format command to perform a surface analysis. Note this is destructive and I would recommend a backup. I would also recommend drive mirroring if you have a secondary drive in the system. For best results two drives of identical configs are best.
