Phil,

The log looks reasonably clean, the suspect entries are:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DisableEHCI] C:\WINDOWS\NoUSB20.EXE
and
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Excite Private Messenger Pipe] C:\Program Files\Excite\PrvtMsgr\bin\x8IMPipe.exe

neither of which have any sort of consistent write up about them if you google for the filename or search the startup information sites (see my FAQ in this forum on How to read a HijackThis log for more information).
This is not to say that they are legitimate, it is not that they are widespread enough across the PC using community.

Are you experiencing any particular problems with your PC at the moment? If so, what is happening?

John

Was experiencing slow usage but after running CW shredder, Spybot, Adaware et all I think most of the nasties were removed.
I have noticed a considerable increase in speed and am happy at the moment.
I know what the excite is and don’t use it anymore so that’s the first to go.

Regards, Phil
