Thanks a lot.

I think you have a trojan there:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [sara] D:\Documents and Settings\sara.ABBA-764A5DBEEB\sara.exe /i

Download/install SuperAntiSpyware, start up in Safe mode and run it.

Hi Glen, thanks for the link, unfortunately I couldn't seem to get the log to parse properly for some reason.

Hi MakeItSo, that's what I actually thought too (not my log), I couldn't find anything on google, but my guess is that it names its self based on the users folder name (quite clever in a way). I just wasn't sure which out of the many anti-softwares out there would get rid of it, I'll suggest SuperAntiSpyware to them, thanks.

oh, and I know the "O2 - BHO: (no name)"... one can go :)

Besides what was already mentioned, have them fix these using HJT:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = *.local;

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB} - (no file)

The following are unnecessary and can be deleted as well:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "D:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Adobe Reader Speed Launcher] "D:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\Reader_sl.exe"

Have them download MBAM (Malware Bytes AntiMalware) and do a full scan...

How to ask a question, when posting them to a professional forum.
Only ask questions with yes/no answers if you want "yes" or "no"

I'll pass that on and see how it goes, thanks all.

Cool! 2 separate web links with automated HJT log reviewers...

Thanks for the links, folks!
