Hi,

Is there any command in 'vi' which shows the column position where the cursor is on ?

Thanks in advance
Mallik

Not that I'm aware of - but you can go to a column position
by typing n| when in text input mode(ie not last line mode)
Thats any decimal number (less than 81 or 132) followed by the pipe symbol ( shift \ on my keyboard)
