Hi, I'm working on a special project in VB6 that would involve changing of the background color of a Form. If it's even possible to do this, the project I'm working on would require the form background to give the appearance of changing from morning to night. In other words, it would have the color of morning, and gradually the morning color would change to an afternoon color, then an evening color, and finally a night color.

More specifically, the form would start-out and end-up having the "DUSK" appearance, like in the AutoFormat of Access 97. If you notice when working on a form in Access in Design view, there are multiple choices of form formats,
DUSK is the one I'm interested in.

I sent a message about a week or so ago, and I did get a response. The the suggestions and code that was provided by the respondent was almost what I was looking for. The only problem, the colors that were needed; as I just specified, wasn't working, and also I would need the fading from one color to another go very very slow.

Is it possible to do such a thing? If so, I could sure use your help, including providing the proper code. Thanks...

Since you have the code, I would suggest that you look at the custom colors pallet for background collors to get the color values for each stage and then use the timer to control the changes.
