Hi
I'm having problems with Dell 2500's that have had their shipped SEAGATE DDS4 drive replaced with a SONY DDS4. Now have problems with tape drive, in that unable to read/write data - though unload, reset, rewind will work. Unsure of whether to try updating driver for alad - current version is SCO OpenServer 5.1.0/Unix 5.0.5Eb 98/07/27; is this worth updating? Would it also be worth deleting and readding the driver in hardware/kernel manager? Worthwhile readding the device in /dev/?
Other than that, the only other issue I can see is a vector conflict between the percraid controller and the host adaptor (reported from hwconfig -hc). Though I have other servers reporting the same conflict - and I have no issues with them (at least not that I'm aware of!).
