This is possible using the File I/O options in the macro language. If you intend to use it with id's and passwords, a better option is to use encryption. Otherwise you expose yourself by leaving the password in clear text in the input file. Do a keyword search on encrypt password and look for a thread I wrote with a macro sub-routine on how to accomplish this.
