i would like to install a pc from a share folder on the network..its not on a RIS its just a pc with a share I386...i just cant seem to be able to boot on the network from that virgin pc?? its in fact a lap top IBM thinkpad 390 with a pcmcia linksys pcmpc200 network card..i cant see the other pcs on the network..whats the problem?

With your description difficult someone to give you an answer.
As principles:
- your "virgin PC" should be able to see the network
- it has to have an OS installaed on it, or a boot disk with DOS that will connect to that server

would a windows 98 boot disk work?? and if so how can i connect to the PC with the share i386 folder???
with the net use command??
