Hi,

I was hoping someone could provide me with some direction in regards to OUTgoing Calling Line Identification. By default, all our outgoing numbers are withheld with the single exception of our M2250 Console. We would like to be able to allocate a selected few phones with a predefined outgoing number (Pilot DN's, ACD-DN's, CDN's etc) and some others with their own (direct) numbers. I know that when I alter the KEY 00 SCR xxxx 0 option from 0, then it will pick up an entry from the NET_DATA block in LD 15. I’m not sure how to define entries in there (1,2 etc). Also, I believe options 0,1 and 2 are the only three numbers I can use after the KEY 00 SCR xxx entry (meaning only five choices: Withheld CLID, send own number, Send one of three defined DN’s?). Of course, in the back of my mind, I’m thinking that outgoing CLID might be blocked by the public network provider but that doesn’t explain why the console sends the main listed number being the prime number of our Telco services. System is an Opt 61c.
Any pointers would be gratefully accepted.

Sorry, I forgot to put in a subject line... Was supposed to be 'Changing Outgoing CLID options'. At least it's Friday... :)

Go to LD 21 and prt CLID. This will give you the caller ID tables programed in your switch. You can change them in LD 15 if you need to. You can program as many as you need. I programed as many as 890 clids in LD 15 for a dialtone resale company.

On reason for the Main number going out is your PRI provider is controlling the caller ID instead of releasing CLID control to the pbx.
