I want to play two audio tracks in director at the same time.
Both are the same song but one has an effect on it. I have a fader controlling the volume of the track with the effect on it so it sounds like you are turning the effect up. But the second track plays slightly slower than the other and the tracks get out of sync.

they both start at the same point but won't play in time
does anyone know how to fix this?

that's a though one. are you sure, both tracks are the same lenght? you could try to syncronize it with tons of cuepoints. but as you'd need peak anyway to set the cuepoints, i'd say...sample the two tracks to a single one in peak. create the effect in there. it's definitely more acurate.
