Hi !

I want to generate automatically a report.
First I want to make a form where the user can choose which columns from a table should come on the report.
Then I want automatically to generate a report where the choosen columns are shown.

Have somebody made something like this.

I have searched for examples in Internet but i haven's found anythiing.

Hallo,

What about creating a generic report, displaying Expr1, Expr2, Expr3 etc.
then write code to open it and make its recordsource
SELECT [Name] as Expr1, [Height] as Expr2, [Weight] as Expr3 FROM tblMyTable
Obviously that's not the whole solution, but the principle's sound. You could have different report templates depending on the number of fields selected.

I have a sample Db that does something like this if you want to look at it. It is very simplistic, but it may give you a start.
