Hi,
i want 1 machine to be able to go on two different workgroups [with differeent ip addresses]
is this poss?
what is the best way?
cheers MG

As far as I know you can only access 1 work group at a time.

you can assign static IP's to all machines and build them into your DNS tables, this should allow you to see all of the computers, but they would all have to be assigned to the same work group, I think.

Im a Telco guy, I can get you where you want to go, but I can't guarantee it will work when you get there!

One computer cannot be a member of more than one workgroup/domain at the same time, but it certainly CAN access multiple workgroups/domains at the same time.

As for the different IP address issue, just assign a second IP address/subnet mask to the NIC in your machine.
