Hi,
I have vbulletin sitting on top of my xp box with mysql/apache/perl/php running. Everything 'seemed' to be fine and everyone could register/logon/post etc but all off a sudden, when people go through the registration process and click 'register' the following error comes up:
'Warning: Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (10061) in c:\phpdev\ on line 32
There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.
An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.
We apologise for any inconvenience.'
And then my apache and sql services kick out and I have to restart them.
BUT, and this is the weird bit, if they click 'back' in the their browser, and try and register again- it goes through???!!!
If I open a new browser window and try again from fresh, it fails again and bombs out my services!!
Now sometimes when I drop my firewall it has an effect, but more often than not, it doesn't.
This is a really weird one as it seems going back in the browser and going again fixes it, but why??
Can any guru's out there help me with this one??
Thanks
Mors
