Hi,
I have this code in order on an onclick event of an textbox

DoCmd.SendObject acSendNoObject, , , , , , "IPCIS: " & Forms!frmmain.ipcisID, , vbYes

It works but my works novell network always asks me for my profile first, anyone know how to bypass this? Or another simple way of sending emails the same way?

Thanks

I don't have specific experience with Novell, but I think this issue essentially relates to a virus-protection measure. It prevents malicious code from sending emails on your behalf without you allowing it. Because of that purpose, you probably can't bypass the warning popup.

Hopefully someone else can prove me wrong, though. . .

Don't take my post as the final word. . . like I said, I don't have specific experience with Novell. If you look hard enough, there's usually a way to do what you want to accomplish. Try another approach?

I know I can send email from Office 97 products through Outlook 98 without triggering a popup. . . (if you're interested, see my FAQ on sending email through Outlook from Excel: faq707-3564 ).

Keep at it!
