Hi,

I have over 18 years of experience in ERP/SCP/CRM. I have been asked by my friend who is a QA Analyst at a Biotech company to find out answers to some lot controlled issues that they have. Unfortunately I don't know JDE.

Here are my questions:

1. Does JDE support multi-level BOM and/or WO lot tracking? If yes, is it automatic or should the user tie up each level manually?
2. If product A lot # 1 gets packaged and becomes product B and serial # 2, how can the receiving end (customer) know that they are actually receiving product A and lot # 1? The usual workarounds are to use Phantom part or kitting. I am not how JDE handles this issue.
3. By the way, can JDE auto-gen lot numbers?
