Hi,
I have just installed a new 60Gb Maxtor HDD on my PB Platinum 2010.
Everything went very well until I changed the disk from slave to master.
Now when I try to boot it won't let me get past the BIOS. I have flashed my MSI 6119 Tacoma to V1.90 which enabled me to actually install the drive, but it only seems to want to work as a slave to my original drive ???

If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.

You might want to double check jumpers on all drives.
As well as drives vs. cable and controller positions.

you might also want to check with FDISK and make sure that the HDD was made active after the switch from slave to master when set up as slave the master was the active Drive when you took out the master you will not have a designated active HDD Hope This Helps Solve Your Problem
