Hi,
I have created a setup for the client on my project - uses an .msi to deploy to each target machine (NT4 Sp6a machines)
The support team that carry out the installations are asking if there is a simple way to uninstall the previous version before installation.

Can an application installed via a .msi be uninstalled using a simple command line? That would suit fine, unless anyone has any other ideas for a simle uninstall?

Thx

Pete

You can always set the RemovePreviousVersion in the Deployment Project Properties which would prompt you when you run the msi (if the version number is > than the previous). If this is of any help..
Regards,
John
