Hi,

I have a situation where I have 2 different user classes say UC1, UC2

I have a Location Dimension -> Country code, Region Code.

I have two customers
Customer A Customer B
Country Code IRE IRE
Region Code MO MO

UC1 can see all levels for all customers.
UC2 can see all levels, but they can only see all levels for certain customers say Customer A.
My problem is that I cannot add this security to the cube without adding a separate dimension (Location) for UC2
as it is not possible to distinguish whether the region code is Customer A or B
Does anyone know how to get around this without having to create a special dimension for UC2 and restrict the respective dimensions from the user classes.


I did the following but it did not suit my needs as I distinguished between the customers say

Customer A Customer B
Country Code IRE IRE
Region Code MO MO1

and restricted the region Code "MO1" from UC2 but when UC1 looked at the dimension it showed

the Region Code MO and MO1 and this is not what I want as I get a double category.
