Hi,

I have small problem in getting data into the report.
for ex) the report has two metrics

First Metric(PTD Sales Metric) using a tranformation to get Period to Date Sales .

& the Second Metric (YTD Sales Metric) is a Compound Metric which is a combination of two metrics (ie) the definition of the metric is as follows
[PTD Sales Metric + YTP Sales Metric] and when i run this report using these two metrics i get values only for the first metric but no value is returned for the second metric ( just Blank fields) even though it is using using the first metric in it's definition.Can anyone please help me .

How are your metrics defined? It sounds like your YTP metric should have month dimensionality in it if not already. We are doing something similar with a YTD (Year to date metric) Where we take MTD(Month to date) + YTM(Year to Month)to get YTD. The YTM metric sums up all of the full months prior to the current month.
Our metrics are defined like this:

MTD
Sum(Fact)
Transformation - MTD


YTM
Sum(Fact)
Dimensionality - Month
Transformation - YTM

Nlim,

I have Report in which the metrics have transformations and the metrics are not returning Null data as there is no data in the database . Now the problem is i want to display null fields as Zero's . I have tried Configuring the Project in the Advanced Tab by setting the Null Field Value to Zero & also changed the VLDB settings of the Metric & as well the Report also ie I checked the options for Nulls to be displayed . Can anyone please help me in getting this issue resolved .
