Hi,
I am facing problem in the backup. We have a Windows NT acting as a PDC with the clients (users) putting their data as a backup. HP Sure Store drive is connected to the NT machine for the backup. We use the 40Gb DAT tape for the media. We also have a CVS server (on Linux). We wanted to take backup of the CVS also. But to our dismay, we found out that incremental backup is not happening from the CVS Server. This is because, windows does not see the CVS filles as archive. Hence the probelm. Currently, we are forceed to take the entire hardisk backup. We are not in a position to invest more either on a hardisk / tape cartridges nor spend on expensive Backup software. Could there be any cost-effective solution(s) ?
Thanks in advance.
