Hi!

I am a beginner to Teradata RDBMS, through QueryMan I have connected to ORACLE and the connection is properly established and the list of table are shown. When i write a query

SELECT * FROM EMP;

the following error is shown on the status bar.

"No parameter markers(?} found in the query."

This happened when i connected to MS-Access and tried also. Can someone help me out.

I have two thoughts 1)Your ODBC connection is not correct for the application software, so the syntax translation is invalid. 2) Select * is not appropriate syntax for Oracle or Access.

Try selecting a single attribute, and make sure your Select syntax is valid.
