Hi,
I’ve placed an image at this address:

Can anyone tell me how I could extend the outsides of this graphic to fill an A1 portrait page.

I’d like the image to take up the entire page with the eye at the centre but it would be great if I could extend or somehow copy the outsides (top & bottom) of the image so it would fill the page.

Any suggestions on how I go about this????

Many thanx, Lavaghman!

is the original a vector or bitmap? I'm presuming it's a bitmap. Not knowing what dimensions an "a4" is in comparison to what the image is, my comments may be off base... but if the resolution of the image is high enough that you can change the PPI settings (but not altering the actual number of pixels) and not have it affect printing, you could just change that.. i.e., I have a 300px by 300px bitmap where the PPI info is 300ppi - it an app that can read such headers it would print at 1in by 1in. If I needed this image bigger and I know the printer that I would use doesn't need that level of PPI, I could change the PPI to 150ppi and it would print out as 2in by 2in.

That said, if the PPI resolution is not there, your options are probably recreating the image to the size you need or using an app like Genuine Fractals or S-Spline to enlarge the image. They might be able to enlarge it with little degradation of the image, but there will still be degradation when enlarging a bitmap - it's just the nature of the beast.
