hi, how do I change a solid color into dots,

how do I change the size of the dots and distance btween them, for example changing the the solid blue of a sphere into blue dots inside the objec, (the sphere in this case)

This has to do with DCOM/COM how?

Windows normally just picks the nearest solid color. Dithering you see is just a side effect of displaying. I don't know any way to control that. You could make a routine that does that type of work but there isn't anything built into windows like that.
