HI friends,
I am trying to execute the cobol sample programs from IBM.
After including the copybooks , the compilation went through .however in linking I am getting the error that
unresolved external symbol _mqput@32
unresolved external symbol _mqdisc@12
unresolved external symbol _mqclose@20
unresolved external symbol _mqopen@24
unresolved external symbol _mqconn@16

this I am getting even after including the library files
suugested by IBM.
Can any one help me fix this error

i have also installed visual age cobol.

i don't have JCL i m trying to compile with mfcobol

Whooops! Sorry - it didn't occur to me that anyone would use COBOL on anything but a mainframe these days :)

If it were C I would say you need to include the mqm.lib or mqic32.lib libraries. If you've already got one of these I can't think what else is missing.

Are you sure you're including them from the correct paths?

Cheers,
Paul

Did you resolve your problem, because I'm having a similar issue.
