Hi folks.....

I know some of you wizzards here can tell me what the problem is concerning the message i'm getting on my Unixware 7.1 box. This is it....

"sysdump_init Memory size is larger than dump device.panic dump will be selective.

The machine is a Compaq Prosigna @120mhz with 212MB of memory. Any help/thoughts/suggestion/ideas would be appreciated.

Well, it means what it says: there isn't enough space to do a complete dump, so it's going to do the best it can.

Unless you have the knowledge to analyze dumps or are willing to pay someone who does, you don't care anyway.

If you do care, or man sysdump should explain it in more detail
