Hi everyone!
I am developing a web browser in java. I have actually set up the connections and so long. I can retrieve the HTML from a server and display the code in a textarea.
What I want to do now is to parse the HTML code e show the html-formatted page in a frame o something like that... Is there an easy and fast way to do that? Well, it would be complicated to build a parser and so long... I think there is a faster way!
Thanks for your help.

Check out thread269-370772. It will help you I think. regards,

Hi Blaxo,
thanks for your answer. Can you please just provide me a sample? I've gone through the thread you show me, but I still can't guess how to render the HTML code... I suppose I will have to use javax.swing.text.html.parser, but... well, after the code parsing what do I need to do to show the page in a frame?
Thanks

I will quote gny's post in that thread:

"All you guys who haven't seen it yet and don't have an evil teacher making you work with sockets could check out the javax.swing.JEditorPane if you want to quickly make an html 3.2 browser."

so check out !! regards,
Blaxo
