Hi everybody

I'm writing a program for a cybercafe and would need know how to kill the Internet connection of any computer in the network of the cybercafe.

In another words:
- Allow a computer to connect
- Kill the connection

Thanks in advance

Walter.

Change the resistry entry for the Proxy settings!!

If you are using a Proxy then set and invalid address and if your not then do the same.

Then to make it work just set to what it should be.

Kind Regards, Paul Benn

To Paul Benn:

Thank you for the tip, but it seems that the computers are not connected to a proxy. At least, I cant see it in the "Connection" tab of the Internet Explorer.

Can you explain me best ?

Walter.

Hi Walter,

As they are not connected via a proxy then if you set one it will not allow them access to the internet as it can't find the proxy!!

And to allow just remove the proxy settings.

The Registry keys are:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

ProxyEnable = 0 Not Used 1 Used
ProxyServer = IP Address (Just use a fake IP Address)

Kind Regards, Paul Benn
