The line nr. 3 is
set cmd = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Command&quot
I installed MDAC 2.6 on my machine.

If I refresh the page I'm getting
Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 80029c4a'
Server.CreateObject Failed
/Reports/defaulttest.asp, line 3
Error loading type library/DLL.

Does ADODB.Recordset work? Maybe Commands aren't supported.

Sounds like you have an installation problem. I ran the command on my server, which also has mdac 2.6 loaded, and it ran fine.
