Hi, don't know if this is a simple problem or not: when i upload my movies, all my loadmovie actions stop working, like the specific movies aren't even there. I can't understand it cause they all work when i test the movie in flash. I've even tried pointing the loadmovie actions to the specific www. address rather than link them internally and it still won't work!

Post the actionscript or the fla file so we can have a look at it. Chances are it is something simple and can be fixed in a jiffy. Ya' Gotta Love It!X-)

the thing i've got the problem with is the 'clear screen' function which simply reloads the movie into level 0- it works fine on my computer but not when uploaded. Check out

Oh, while im here i might as well ask: any idea how i could get the 'delete item' button to work? I think it should be something to do with RemoveMovieClip but im having trouble working out the name of the clip to target as they are all duplicated...

Any ideas?

Was this done in Flash 4 or 5?
Curiously I get a format error trying to open it in 4... but a conversion update when I open it up in 5!

Few notes...

It is usually better to use full paths, including the

http://...

even in the naming of your srcs in your framesets.


First problem:
I gather that when you hit the clear screen, you only want to clear the room drawn and not the whole thing, right?

Curiously your clear screen function seems to be working fine if I call up the movie itself as with...

Curiously also, as it stands now, the whole thing dissapears, but I can get it back by pressing the product range followed by Room Planner... Is that supposed to be so?

Had a quick look a your .fla... Clear Screen(on stage) seemed to have a movie clip behavior rather than a button's one. Why?

hi, still away on business but managed to get a quick look in on the forum. Don't have Flash on my Vaio so I'll sort this out for you when I get back unless someone has sorted it beforehand (should be back tomorrow---wednesday)

Undo button isn't a problem either, already developed it for Draw-beta.

Hey Dave, sorry ive been away but with the bank holiday and all that...
If you've got a spare moment would you mind having a look at my delete item and clear screen buttons to see where im going wrong?..... (and if u really wanna, teach me how to make my items scaleable by dragging the mouse!)
