Hi,

Can you anyone help me before I tear my hair out?!

I'm trying to create my first simple report, using the report expert.

When i get to the Groups tab, only some of the fields in the report are listed, and only some of those in the database table are listed. Why should some be listed and not others?

No idea. Try exiting completely and starting over. As long as your tables are linked correctly under the links tab, all of the fields should appear under the fields and group tab windows. If exiting doesn't work you may just have to uninstall and reinstall CR.

See the FAQ on memo/varchar fields. These will not appear in the Group/Sort or select tabs. Ken Hamady
