Hi all:
MD110 VER. BC11
locking extension does not lock ADNs affiliated to it.
Any suggestions?

Do you mean locking extensions with authcode ?
And after that you can press adn key and
dial out ?

hello
and yes, this is exactly what I mean.Any idea?

When every thing else fails, read the instruction manual!

Why do adn's have a cat that allows dialing out anyway
isn't enough that they dial out on the odn .
I always use restricted cat for adn's but leave them open for DID calls.

Iv'e not managed to figure out this in the manuals .
Possible that only solution is to assign auth codes
for the adn's also ,resulting in pressing each adn and key in the lock down code.

Thanks Soaplover:
I use the ADNs for dedicated Co.Lines.Hotline them to their Dest and there they go.
I beleive there was a patch to do this (Locking ADNs and ODN at the same time) in previous versions.
But thanks for replying anyway
Regards

Experience it, there is no substitute.

Ok.You see the scenario is as follows:
An Adn is hotlined to a dest.I tried changing it to the delayed hotline option and locked it with authority code. However it seems that the holtline feature overrides any locking! and it still dials the the dest and enables the user to make external calls.Situation is the same in BC9.
AAny suggestions?
