Hi all,

I am using Access and linking tables via ODBC, however the linked tables seem to be causing corruptions in my Database.

The corruptions I've had are:

The ODBC Linked Tables won't display data

The ODBC Linked Tables give a message "This action will reset the current code in break mode. Do you want to stop the running code?" Even though I have no VB in my DB

Some ODBC Linked table related queries just refuse to run

If I import the tables the errors disappear, I have tried changing the table key sets to no avail. I don't get this issue when using a different ODBS linked table

- Do all ODBC drivers support linked tables or do some just support imported tables?
- Has anyone else had this issue?
- Is it possible my drivers have corrupted and need a reinstall?

Thanks in advance
Ben

I had this problem when a database with linked tables was opened a long time without being used. I guess it has something to be with the connection timeout of the ODBC. In most of the computers I had with this problem I solved it installing the most recent service pack for Office.
