Hi all,

I am looking to import a textfile using a file selection method, with the user selecting the file to be imported.
Does anybody have any ideas how this can be done? I've got some code which brings up a box from which you can select the file but am struggling with actually taking it a step further and importing it into a predefined table.

Can anyone help?

Build a form and
1. Put a drop-down list control on the form.
2. Link the list- control to a small table of table names.
3. In the control's changevalue method, add PAL code to import the text file (from whever it is coming from), to a temp table.
4. Run a query to ADD the temp tables records, to the destination table.
