Hi all!

How to make cgi scripts to execute anywhere in the server..
ie) apart from cgi-bin directory .i know there is a syntax we need to add in the httpd.conf i don't know what is it...
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi,

Yes, you can use the 'AddHandler' directive, either within a <Directory> block of httpd.conf or in the '.htaccess' file for the same directory. The syntax is like this :

AddHandler cgi-script .cgi .pl

(would recognise scripts with extension .cgi or .pl)

Regards
