Hi All,

Could anyone tell me if it is at all possible to remotely change the name of a client pc on a network in windows 2000.

try and access the regestry, do a search for the old name and replace it with the name you want for every instance itr comes up. You will need access to regedit from where you are.

Hi. I believe you can do this using the NETDOM tool provided in the support tools CD or downloadable from the Microsoft Website.
