Hi Again,

Is there an easy way to make my Crystal Report the actual message in an email?

I think I can do it by exporting the report to a text file then have my vb6 code read back the text file and place the text in the email as the message.

I am using VB6 and CR8 using Active-X

Yes it is possible.

1) my cViewMANAGER report scheduler can send email messages with the rpt as either txt, csv or html in the body of an email. It took a bit of VB code to do this, but some of my users really like that feature.

2) I have a UFL that can build up a message, and send it from within the report. That enables one report to send several email messages to different people. The current UFL uses MAPI (Outlook) but I'll have a SMTP version available shortly. Editor and Publisher of Crystal Clear
