thanks butcheron. i have downloaded the files, including the associations and tried it. unfortunately i still cannot access the media.
i have this cd created from a mac. i did as instructed in the documentation of the ftp site you mentioned but i cannot mount the drive. i tried moving to another computer, tried 4 different types of cd drives but still the same error message. funny thing is, with or without the cd in the drive, the message is the same.
