I am still waiting on verbage from the client, but I want opinions on the site from others. You can send friends to look at a site but they normally wont tell you if it looks like crap. = )

here is the link

thanks

800x600, the page is shifted right and the click to enter is almost hidden.
You might want to set your table to percentage instead of a fixed size.
Just my opinion. Other than the size, looks pretty clean to me.

Hi mate,

I totally agree with Dirtrocker about the resoution problem.

Other things I notice are "Digital, Marketing and Contact Us" are the exact same font and size as the links but the links are slightly indented. That makes it look confusing as to which are links and which are not. You should make that clearer.

Does 2 lines of text really warrant a seperate page? You have this on a few pages.

Other than those things mentioned, looks ok..

Hope this helps Wullie

Thanks for the feedback,

Doh, forgot to check about other screen resolutions. will get that one fixed.

"Does 2 lines of text really warrant a seperate page? You have this on a few pages." I only have the bare minium from the owner, hopefully he will give me more info and some of his more quality pictures he has. But it may be easier to pull the teeth of a pit bull.

thanks in advance
Rob

Hi,

In Netscape 4.7 (yes I finally got it!)

Main page looks really nice, pity its so static though, my browser is rarely maximised when i surf.
When I click enter why have you set it to open in a new page? Might be better to open in the same window.
The window it opens is small and I am unable to resize it! This is extremely annoying for a visitor!!

Personally I'd change the main content section background, I think its a little too much having it the same as the left frame, perhaps with more content it may look nicer!?

I would like to be able to click on Digital, Marketing and contact Us, something I learned on TekTips, you need to distinguish links from non-links! Perhaps you could make an introductory page for each of these headers?

Thats about all for now, hope it helped!

To avoid the "dotted border" around a link after a click you can add onfocus="blur()" to the link like:

<a onfocus="blur()" href=".............

Hope this helps,

I think you need some images/color as examples of what you are presenting, its a bit boring

the window that pops-up when i slick enter is the exact same size as my screen, but shows up anout 20px from the top. this cuts off those 20px on the bottom. a little anoying trying to fit the window perfectly in my screen.

and cian, test it in a real browser, the pop-up is borderless, that is why he uses it. (-:

Nice site, but ... I'd get rid of the pop up.

Use individual pages with tables with some of the pics from the opening page.

When the first page opened ... i felt "excited" about the site ... then the stuff in the pop window was kind of bland.

PS. I don't like using percentages as someone suggested, your stuff tends to move around. I'd use pixels, but just make sure different resolutions can view everything. You'd probably do better creating it for 800x600. Us 1024 folks dont mind a little whitespace.

Like the site, but on the main page, where you say:
"Click to enter" and "Please enable pop up windows to view this website" the font is too light, try using the #cccc00 instead...
I'd get rid of pop-up windows, most people do not like that, including me...have the site open in on a regular browser window...
But other then that, nice job...:) I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...
