Hey Curly, I got this config from Mike White at .e4 Tech Support and it resolved my issue.
This initial step has to be performed when the phone is in the boot sequence and it will restore phone back to factory default configuration. Buttons for the Polycom 335 are 1,3,5 and 7 simultaneously.
On powered up phone hold down a series of keys on the number pad depending on the phone model.
• IP 301, 501, 550, 600, 601, and 650, and 670: 4, 6, 8 and * dial pad keys
• IP 320, 321, 330, 331, 335, 430, 450, 560, 7000: 1, 3, 5, and 7 dial pad keys
• IP 4000 and 6000: 6, 8 and * dial pad keys
Enter default password “456” and the phone restarts.
Enter the Phone Menu
As phone is booting press "set up" softkey (Under Display 2nd from Right)
Enter password 456
Give Phone Static IP Address (Skip to Step #4 is using DHCP)
Select DHCP Client by hitting the "sel" button on the Multi-Directional Keypad to the Right
Hit the Down Arrow Key on the Multi-Directional Keypad to the Right so that "disabled" appears
Phone IP Addr is now selected - Enter Desired Static IP on number pad. - Select OK soft Key
Press Sel Button to modify Subnet Mask on number pad - Select OK soft Key
Press Sel Button to modify IP Gateway - Select OK soft Key
Use Down Arrow Key to navigate to DNS Server – modify DNS Info on number pad - Select OK soft Key
Use Down Arrow Key to navigate to DNS Alt. Server – modify DNS Alt. Server Info on number pad - Select OK soft Key
Setting Boot Server:
Go into "DHCP Menu:" and set the "Boot Server:" to "Static". Hit OK and then Back
Use Arrow Key to navigate to the Server menu
Press "sel" Button
Set Server type to "FTP" Hit OK
Modify Server Address - *** Hit the soft key (third From Right a--->1A so that you can enter numbers on key pad) Set address to "75.134.81.100" - Hit OK
Edit Server User: User = "poly" - Hit OK
Edit Server Password: Password = "poly456" - Hit OK
Select Exit Exit Softkey - On right under the display
Exit out until save and reboot is shown on screen- then select it-
