Hey All! My Computer is really screwed up need some help

Hey I just upgraded my computer the specs are
Pentium 4 3.0Ghz
Intel Chipset D865PERL
Nvidia Geforce 4 TI4600
512 DDR 400

and for some reason no new games will work aswell as they should, foe example I was playing to demo to unreal tournament 2004 and it was sooo damn laggy. bt when I play C&C Generals its almost perfect but there are the unusual skips. And it is really pissing me off cause I have spent like 2000 dollars on the peice of junk to play games and it doesnt even work! Please if you can help..... TALK

Are you using the newest nvidia drivers?

again, try checking the BIOS, make sure the agp slot is set to the proper setting to match your card, ie. agp 2x, 4x or 8x. I had this problem myself.

yes i tried all of that and it still doesnt work.
