Hi. I added a hostname in the hosts file of a linux/oracle installation and as you may have guessed EM will not start because the directory it is now looking for doesn't exist.

So I created the directories EM was looking for in the two directories $ORACLE_HOME/oc4j/j2ee/"newdir" and $ORACLE_HOME/"newdir2" and all started up fine.

Do you think everything is fine? I wasn't sure if the underlying files in these subdirectories had any hostname specific information in them... oh well. Thanks !!

I spoke too soon hahaha. On the main EM screen, I see this. Everything else seems to work fine. I will research this unless you all think I should just change the hostname back to what it was before.... ?
