Hi Carl,

I just had a look at your new site and theres a couple of things not quite right.

1. None of the links work for me.
2. your clock runs of the end of the backgroung it's on to the left and the year is almost of the bottom of my screen.

Looks very nice though, think I prefer it to the old one, but that's also very nice. I think it must be the 3d elements, they seem to bring it alive. I must get it together and learn some of that, I have a copy of 3d studio but when I last had a go at it, it just gave me a headache. One day soon I'm sure it'll come up again. roda B-)

yeh if you look at just the newtemplet.swf the clock is all wrong..if your looking at it through the templet.html it should be right..look and see..the buttons are inactive..haven't made it that far yet..

actually i just looked at both..don't seem to be stretching out of the movie to me..what system are you on and the specs of that system? monitor? res?

either way i will fix it later on, will add noresize in the body tag and that should take care of any stretching..

Nice work Virt, I like the new stuff...but the thing I didn't like about the other site, is the SAME image was used from section to section and all it did was tint...think you'll add something different this time?... ----------------------------------------

Now where's that cute kitten? ;-)

I'm on a 21" monitor, 1280 - 1024 res, ie 5.0. I never have ie maxed on this machine as things tend to dissapear up into the top left corner cause the screens so big.

OK, just maxed ie, the time is of to the left. I can see about half of the u from, I guess thu, the rest of "thu" is missing.

Good work man!!;-) roda B-)

yeh this time i will be loading all external movies flashing into the maintimeline..the background will stay the same..and like i said roda i will fix that stretching later..noresize should do the trick..

Hey Virt...what would it look like if you had that page pop up, and then her rising out of the water?...I think it wouldn't look too bad...it would give a little extra to it I think...like, shake the background image, then have her rise...

Also, can you convert PARTS of an image into vector graphics?...

And again, sheesh I ask too many questions...
Is there a way to make duplicated MC's on a layer behind objects?...I have a script I borrowed and altered a little, but when I put it in my 'tube' it stays on top of the tube, and I also have buttons that the script interrupts with the images it displays... ----------------------------------------

what do you mean parts of the image? and can't u just put the mc layer underneath the tube layer thus putting it behind the object?

It's not an MC, I put the script right on my page, and yea, I've tried putting it under the tube layer...for some reason it stays on top of it and everything else...=(

And I mean PARTS of an image, say if certian areas were VERY complex, and wouldn't help any to convert them to vectors, could you like, cut out a part that was like black, and convert the black part of the image to a vector and have it discard the image information for that piece of the picture? ----------------------------------------

dude your loosing me man!! as far as i can tell you could cut out some areas of a pic..the chick that i did had a black background behind her..i put her in photoshop and magicwanned the black..selecting it and cutting it out..cut the file size down by about 5k..not much but a difference none-the-less..so i'm guessing you could cut out whatever you can do without hurting the image..

and try putting the script in a mc and then bringing it into the timeline on the layer underneath the tube and see what happens!! can't really say much unless i seen what you were trying to do with my own eyes..hard to picture what you mean..

hi virt, by the time i tried to looki at it, it wasn't there!!! wuu... :(

please put it back up for meeeeeee ^-^
(i think cos i'm in oz the time difference or something!)

hey, by the way white tiger, tigers don't eat li'l kittens ^-^

if you're importing a chunky file, you can convert it all to a vector by doing that trace bmp thing.. but it takes aaages when it's huge... and eats your computer!
if that's what you're asking.. otherwise virt answered u'r q cos you just select the portion with the magic wand.. delete it... like if your backgrounds black.. or make it like screen printing... and create a _black_ etc shape behind your image, same shape as the image, cut the black sections out of the image, and then the other black will shine thru... or something!

by the way virt, i love the way you spell 'templet' :p and the image stretches funny on your new site when i have the window a bit minimized....??

ohhhhh... and before i forget.. you probably don't care!!! but for art, brown is generally considered the colour of sickness etc... so maybe change the menu's colour??? but that's just if you care about the 'feelings your site gives off' :p looks very sexy regardless ^-^

see ya guys,
Kitten ^_-
