I am a very proud man. I am the project manger for a National company from Scotland. I have convinced the board to agree to move from an Exchange platform onto GroupWise 6. YES...... Now my problem. I have convinced all the mail users that the IT Dept will not be migrating any of the current mail, all mail will be archived. No way I am going to clutter up GW right from the start! BUT what I must do is import all the users contacts into the GW client. The users currently use M/S schedule+ and Outlook 97,2000. The only way I can see to do this is by exporting each users contacts from Outlook doing major cutting and pasting before importing them back into GW as NAB files. Can someone please help as I have over 1800 users.
I have had a quick search around and nothing appeas to be simple.

Cheers

.NAB and .VCF import capabilities are all that I see on my IMPORT menu from within the GW AddressBook.

Simple is relative.

GroupWise 6 will use the MAPI profile services just as well as Outlook will. Add the Address book to the MAPI profile and the users can acces it under the GroupWise Address Book. They can either continue functioning that way (even including it in a Name Completion) or drag-copy the addresses over to thier Novell Personal Address Book and after deleting the Outlook Address Book.
