I am have serious problem. Some of the users on my network cannot log in this morning.

By looking at event viewer I have found out that their DHCP lease has expired. When I try to renew by ipconfig/release and then ipconfig/renew. it doesn't work... someone please help.

When I try to realease it says that it is already released and when I try to renew it says

Errpr:DHCP server unavailable:renewing adapter "XXXXX"

Can someone please, please help me!!!!!

Is the DHCP server up and running and able to see the rest of the network? was the DHCP service stopped?

Sounds like the DHCP Server is down. Also, unless you are short on addresses, crank that lease time up. The default 3-day lease won't cover you for 3-day weekends or vacations when the user's machine may be off. I keep mine set for 10 days - never run into renewal problems.
