I am new with this program WIN2, How do I save a file under desktop??

Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean by 'Under Desktop' but, to save to a particular directory, use 'File..Save as' and browse to the location you want.

The desktop should appear as the top level of your Save As pull down under Save In:

If not, look for:

c:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Desktop

Replacing <user name with whatever login you're using.
