Help!!

Data report application developed from DE. and install another PC.

But, when showing data report,error "Failed getting Rowset(s) from data source" appears and break out!

I have checked DAO drivers (Target PC) and can't found any problem.

Please help me to solve it!

MCH - I have encountered the same problem when I was using VB6 and a SQL Server 7 database.

There are at least 2 things that can cause "Failed getting rowset..."

1. Be sure the user has authorization/rights to your database

2. Use the Package and Deployment Wizard add-in to create
the setup.exe Then, on the users PC, run the setup.exe. This will install the necessary .dll, .ocx files that are required for this app to run successfully on the client machine. There really is no other (easy) way of getting the client-environment setup properly.

If you have already done these 2 things, sorry I'm out of ideas.
